  10. Altering colors 0-15 in modes with more than 16 colors should be AVOIDED, 
  11. but tolerable if it's managed properly.

  13. As I mentioned before, if the manager were to handle the palettes 
  14. automatically for each window, storing the current palette when the 
  15. window is untopped and restoring the one assigned to the top window, then 
  16. there wouldn't be many conflicts, especially if most programs only change 
  17. the palette while their window is on top.
